CA Shweta Shah is the Proprietor of Shweta Satvik & Co. and leads the firm's audit, assurance, taxation and compliance practice. She works closely with business owners to keep their statutory obligations accurate, well-documented and met on time.
A substantial focus of her practice is Goods and Services Tax, supported by in-depth knowledge of GST law and procedure. She advises clients across the full GST lifecycle — registration and correct classification of goods and services, determination of place and time of supply, monthly and quarterly return filing, input tax credit reconciliation, e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance, and the annual return and reconciliation statement (GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C). She also handles GST audits, replies to departmental notices and routine departmental correspondence, helping clients identify and resolve credit mismatches and classification questions before they escalate.
Beyond GST, her work spans statutory and tax audits, income-tax compliance and advisory, accounting systems and MIS, and the design of internal controls. Her approach emphasises careful reconciliation, verified working and clear reporting, so that management always has reliable information on which to base decisions.
